Pneumatic module with automatic start and release

The AV10 module can be used as a pneumatic connection interface between Tecna testing equipment and blood lines. The internal valves of the AV10 module are used to advance or retract the release mechanism andare electrically controlled from the digital outputs of the test equipment expansion board. When the male Luer fitting is inserted, a micro-switch sends the start command to the leak tester.

This version is equipped with a mechanism that automatically starts (start at the leak tester) the test when the operator connects the blood line, and automatically releases it at the end of the test if the test result is positive (good).The mechanism reduces the overall testing time and makes it easier for the operator to distinguish good parts from rejected parts.
